January - March | Teen Room

Every belieber is called to the work of discipling. Only a few will be called upon to preach; only a few will lead public worship; or even teach large groups. However, it is the contention of this class that every Christian is called by God to contribute to the disciple-making work of the church through deliberate, mutually encouraging relationships. This class will cover topics ranging from what is discipleship to overcoming discipleships barriers.

Why study the New Testament? We believe what the Book says: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Tim. 3:16-17). In two words, the New Testament is about “promises kept.”  We learn of our promise-making God and how He has kept His promises. This course surveys Matthew through Philippians looking at major ideas and themes of each book.
